After a quick flight in a teeny tiny plane, I jumped into a teeny tiny hire car to explore the area around Armidale before heading off to Stanthorpe for a family long weekend.
I love the textures and colours of the bush - the yellow grasses and stark trees with the ever so subtle signs of spring peeping through the winter landscape, and the human touches of history.
